Our first “IFAKs mission” to the Ukrainian/Polish border and back has been completed. Thanks to the donations we have received during the first 10 days, 85 Individual First Aid Kits and their components have been purchased and most of them have been already delivered to those who need them most in Ukraine. While the number 85 might not seem too big, it is potentially 85 saved lives. And thanks to these donations, we had a chance to bring with us from Ukraine to Brussels a family that needed shelter. I feel obliged to thank each and everyone who has supported our initiative: Vesselina P., Jackie Stelling, Ketaki Bhide, Iryna Vyshynska, CIPP/US, Dana Dickson, Sophie Panjikidze, Laura Echols, Katja Hafner, Loic Dufour, Alessia Tozzi, Andrea Tirelli, Anna Haapanen, Olga - Maria Kiritsi, Kristina Keinath, Arūnas Želvys, Joanna Kolber, Sharon Sorkin, Lombard & Geliebter LLP, Sarah Cohen with her family and friends, Phil Cox, Darlene Portnoy, VaynerLegal, LLC, Noemi Parrotta, Francesco Rossi, Simona Smarrelli, Ilaria Carrino, Silvia Bertini and around two more dozens of donators who wished to remain anonymous. Also, I want to thank my partner Andrej Bukovnik who has taken a double workload and backed me up while I was away, our friend Sergiy Beketov who has assisted with purchases and logistics, as well as my wife Anna Ostanina, LL.M. who has been a part of this initiative from its very beginning and assisted with each step. As we keep receiving donations, we have already made new purchases and orders. Also, Lina Athanasopoulou-Sereti with her friends has donated a few boxes of bandages and basic medicines.
